born in Berlin 1934, started his proffesional career as a musician and composer during the late 60's. He is one of the pioneers of Electronic music and sound exploration and Ambient music.
In 1968 Roedelius met C. Schnitzler and formed KLUSTER in 1970 along with Dieter Moebius. Kluster was one of the most creative bands from the Krautrock scene during the 70's.
In 1974 he was part of the Harmonia trio and an extension of Cluster with the presence of NEU!
In 1977 they started a series of collaborations with Brian Eno with the album "Cluster and Eno".

His work continued to the present day. Roedelius mixes pastoral, reflective keyboard studies with a keen ear for new and challenging timbres. He released more than 5o albums;
