The focus in the repertoire of the three Austrian musicians lies on old music from medieval through renaissance to the early barock music.

By the sound of their instruments and voices the audience is taken on a fascinating journey through the centuries. With their beautiful costumes and a bunch of colourful told stories they are an adventure for every age group.

Music

Sigrid Massenbauer, Sabine Schmidt and Patrick Feldner founded Corvi Ridentes in 1999 and since then played on many different occasions. Expositions as well as events in the austrian museum szene, concerts in curches as well as rural concert halls and support for story tellers. With harps, flutes, their beautiful angelic voices and powerful medieval percussions on different framedrums they are creating an original atmosphere.

Corvi Ridentes are:

Sigrid Massenbauer: Harp, iron-age lute, voice

Sabine Schmidt: Voice, guitar, flutes, spoons, hurdy-gurdy, bodhran, piece of wood, harp

Patrick Feldner: Percussion
